The Mexican Ecological Green Party (PVEM) represents an ideological movement with a social base, the ecological.

The PVEM is now a political organization interested in the preservation of nature and environment. It also works to recover and establish the authentic values of the Mexican culture. Specially the indigenous knowledge and tradition which are deeply respectful of all living beings including plants, animals humans and the nature elements.

We perceive the environment as a whole system conformed by air, earth, water and fire. Many plants and animals have been created and grown in it, including humans who have built many different kinds of societies.

It is a goal for the PVEM to archive an harmonic evolution for all living forms. The PVEM is integrated by members who consider necessary to have in Mexico a political movement working for the preservation of the environment and fight for the legitimate existence. Our philosophy considers that the social - economic development and the preservation of the environment must not be antagonist but complementary.

We consider indispensable to adopt a universal conscience of fraternal cooperation and independence between all living beings, extending our actual concept of solidarity to all the spices that live on Earth. In this perspective, the PVEM wants to represent society and fight peacefully for a better world.

In this time of ecological crises that threat not only the quality of life, but life itself, we became a political party of ecological struggle.

The maximum goal for the PVEM is to achieve a universal fraternity that includes all leaving beings and the natural elements.

Our political philosophy considers that there is a common problem that affects everyone, regardless the ideological opinions, and that is pollution and environmental destruction. These problems have an impact on the planetary conditions that affect the quality of life of all beings and dangers the future of new generations.

The basic principles of the PVEM are Love, Justice and Freedom for all living beings on Earth, including plants, animals and humans. We also respect the natural elements air, earth, water and fire.

In the PVEM we accept from the nahuatl culture the vision of cosmic entity called Earth. The ancient Mexicans considered humans as part of nature and not as its owner.

In the PVEM we consider plants, animals and humans as interdependent beings, ho share the same home or planet. We need each other and everyone has the right to live. Of course, we understand the utilization of beings themselves for surviving, but this must be respectful.
